Who is this available to?
DriveSwap for Institutions is available exclusively to accredited educational institutions — schools, colleges, and universities. Verification is required at signup. This plan is not available for corporate or commercial use.
What's included in the institutional license?
Every member gets the full Pro+ feature set: unlimited Drive transfers with AI organization, account discovery (find every online account tied to their old email — Spotify, banks, work tools), and a 14-day re-transfer window. Individual Pro+ retails at $12 per person — institutions pay $8/seat or less.
Do members need to create an account?
No. DriveSwap works entirely via Google OAuth — no passwords, no sign-up. Members just enter the promo code you share, or are auto-unlocked via your domain.
Can we whitelist our domain instead of sharing a code?
Yes. Add your domain (e.g. school.edu) during checkout and every member with that email gets Pro+ automatically — no code needed.
What if we need more seats later?
Purchase another block and we'll issue a new code. Seats are additive — your members keep access.
What about students who already left? Can they still use it?
Yes — as long as they can still sign in to their old institution Google account, they can run the migration. Account discovery scans their inbox for everything they signed up for with the old email and gives them direct links to update each one.
What file types are supported?
Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, images, and most common formats. Google Forms and Drawings can't be exported via Google's API and are skipped.
Is member data private?
Yes. Files move directly between Google accounts via the Drive API. DriveSwap never stores, reads, or retains any files. Account discovery uses Gmail metadata only (sender + subject) — message bodies are never read.
